Charged and rotating multi-black holes in an external gravitational field

چکیده

Abstract We construct analytical and regular solutions in four-dimensional General Relativity which represent multi-black hole systems immersed external gravitational field configurations. The background is composed by an infinite multipolar expansion, allows to regularise the conical singularities of array collinear static black holes. A stationary rotating generalisation achieved adding independent angular momenta NUT parameters each source binary configuration. Moreover, a charged extension system at equilibrium generated. Finally, we show that Majumdar–Papapetrou solution consistently recovered vanishing limit. All these reach state due only, avoiding this way presence any string or strut defect.

Charged Rotating Black Holes in Odd Dimensions

We consider charged rotating black holes in D = 2N + 1 dimensions, D ≥ 5. While these black holes generically possess N independent angular momenta, associated with N distinct planes of rotation, we here focus on black holes with equal-magnitude angular momenta. The angular dependence can then be treated explicitly, and a system of 5 D-dependent ordinary differential equations is obtained. We s...

Five-Dimensional Charged Rotating Black Holes

We consider charged rotating black holes in 5-dimensional EinsteinMaxwell theory. These black holes are asymptotically flat, they possess a regular horizon of spherical topology and two independent angular momenta associated with two distinct planes of rotation. We discuss their global and horizon properties, and derive a generalized Smarr formula. We construct these black holes numerically, fo...

Quantum Entropy of Charged Rotating Black Holes

For more than two decades physicists have come to appreciate black holes as thermodynamic systems characterized by only a few macroscopic parameters such as mass (m), charge (q) and angular momentum (Ω). The generic representative of such a hole in general relativity is the Kerr-Newman metric . The thermodynamic analogy suggests that there is an entropy associated with this hole that is proport...

Gravitational Lensing by Charged Black Holes

The physics associated with spherically symmetric charged black holes are analyzed from the point of view of weak gravitational lensing as a means for determining the dimensionality of spacetime. In particular, the effect of charged black holes in four and five space time dimensions on the motion of photons are studied using the equations for the null geodesics and deriving the weak limit bendi...

Extreme Gravitational Lensing near Rotating Black Holes

We describe a new approach to calculating photon trajectories and gravitational lensing effects in the strong gravitational field of the Kerr black hole. These techniques are applied to explore both the imaging and spectral properties of photons that perform multiple orbits of the central mass before escaping to infinity. Viewed at large inclinations, these higher order photons contribute ∼ 20%...
